Main Library

The University main library (building #8) is centrally located within walking distance from most of the academic and administrative buildings. A major part of the library collection, including E-resources is in science and engineering. However, the library also has collections in the areas of humanities and social sciences. While 92% of the collection is in English, only 8 % is in Arabic. The library is an open stack library allowing the users free access to all its resources. Reading areas are available on plateau, third and fourth levels of the building. Six reading rooms are also available for serious reading on the third level. Internet labs for faculty and students, prayer area, snacks lounge, and the photocopy center are located on the plateau level.
