The SciFinder is extended database of Chemical Abstracts, published by the American Chemical Society, which provides access to most recent research information in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Metallurgy, Geosciences, and Agriculture. The sources of the information are journals, patents, conference proceedings, dissertations, technical reports, and books, covering literature from 1907 to the present. Other special features of the SciFinder are: searching citations, accessing full-text documents via ChemPort, linking to substance records, browsing table of contents of scientific journals, and linking to other related Internet resources.
