CATALOGING OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

Mission Statement The Cataloging Operations Department actively supports the library's mission to provide access to information resources, in all formats, to the KFUPM community. The Department accomplishes this by building and managing the online catalog, organizing collections, and providing leadership in the creation and maintenance of bibliographic and authority record in accordance with international and local standards. The Department provides the most efficient and highest quality service so that patrons may identify and retrieve appropriate materials to meet their information need, and we continually search for new and better ways to provide that service.
