CED Library

Introduction The administration, supervision and physical facilities of the College of Environmental Design (CED) Library fall under the jurisdiction of the Deanship of Library Affairs and the Circulation Department provides general supervision of the Library. The library is located in Building 19, Room 440 (4th floor) All KFUPM faculty, students and staff are entitled to borrow books from the CED library. AV materials cannot be borrowed, but they are available to faculty for use within the library.

Library collection

The Library collection includes more than 5000 books mainly on Architecture, Architectural engineering, City planning and Construction management. It also has a valuable collection of road maps and master plans of major cities of Saudi Arabia. Audiovisual materials are an integral part of library collection that include Educational films, more than 150 videotapes, and 11,000 slides on different aspects of building design, architecture, city planning and landscape. A/V material cannot be borrowed, but the facility is available to view them in the library.

Regular Semester: 9:00am to 5:30pm
Summer Session: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Thursday & Friday: CLOSED
